The road to "Another Strong Hand for a Damned Land" was long and difficult, as its writing and recording took place during arguably the most difficult times in the country's recent history: the 2020s with their COVID epidemic, strengthening of the regime, and then the war. This could not but affect in the musical and lyrical components of the album: the songs are very different, yet cohesive within a solid style; the sound is massive, heavy, yet perfectly balanced, which is not surprising, if we know that the mixing was done by a master of his craft, Arkady Navakho. Lyrically, through profound symbolism, the songs are filled with the experiences of recent years, an anti-war message, a desire for freedom, and bitterness over the fate of people in the region.
